At first glance, this would bode for an epic fail of a vacation, however you’ll see below, that not only did we have the best time, but we got to experience many new things. The boys advised me that they wouldn’t be joining me on the flight home because they were both moving to Greece….permanently.
So even though there was quite a bit of shoving and complaining about each other (as well as major intrigue with the insect world), I hereby deem our summer 2014 vacation an overwhelming success!!
Photo ops with lifesize Playmobil figures
Exploring new islands
Speaking to birds and have them speak back
Exploring ruins of old Venetian castles
Discovering caves and checking to see if they had any bats
Checking out a real shipwreck and climbing aboard!
Burying little brothers in sand
Learning about endangered turtles that use the beach as their breeding ground
Now, local elementary school, I hand them over to you (insert sigh of relief here), to continue feeding their need for discovery.

Our view from our home balcony and the appreciation of the different flowers that grow randomly beside houses.

Exploring shipwrecks and caves! Of course they had a great time. My two boys would love that kind of trip as well. Beautiful photos!
Thank you!!
